H1Z1 Hacking

The Sony Online Entertainment studio is best known for her larger online titles, with Mmos such as DC Universe Online and Free Realms. New PS4 titles they are working on include H1Z1, Planetside 2, Everquest Next and landmark. From now on, SOE continue as an independent studio under a different name, and they will now focus on multi-platform.

According to Sony, incorporating the SOE studio was no longer part of their strategy and that is why the studio has now sold. SOE will continue as ‘ Daybreak Game Company ‘ and is currently working on titles like EverQuest Next, H1Z1, landmark, and Planetside 2. These will most likely still going to appear on the PS4.

Sony has lately withdrawn some more in terms of investment in making games. SOE worked especially to very large projects and that did not fit more with the strategy of Sony. So it’s no big surprise that they have sold. SOE has been taken over by the investment firm Columbus Nova and now is in fact an indie studio. The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Sony Online Entertainment, newly rebranded as Daybreak, is a great addition to our existing portfolio of technology, media and entertainment focused companies. We see tremendous opportunities for growth with the expansion of the company’s game portfolio through multi-platform offerings as well as an exciting portfolio of new quality games coming up, including the recently launched H1Z1 and the highly anticipated EverQuest Next to be released in the near future.

A concrete release date could also call John, but that is also not yet logically his further comment on the progress of the development:

“It’s PC first, only because we haven’t started on the PS4 version,”
However, it is not a matter of ‘ put off ‘ The engine of H1Z1 is identical to that of Planetside 2, so 80% of the work is already done as Planetside 2 on the PlayStation 4 comes out. All PS4 specific issues than already ready.

“80 per cent of the works is going to be done by launching PlanetSide 2 because all of the PlayStation 4 specific stuff will have been tasks care or with the engine. Porting H1Z1 about after that will take a few months. “
